Brackley Town has reached a new pinnacle in its history, thanks to significant investment from the Premier League Stadium Fund. Following a devastating fire that destroyed their clubhouse six years ago, the club has made remarkable improvements to its ground and facilities. With over half a million pounds provided since 2002, Brackley Town has been able to enhance its infrastructure, including a £250,000 investment towards a new clubhouse. The funding has also allowed for the installation of a full pitch drainage and irrigation system, ensuring the playing surface remains in top condition. Manager Gavin Cowan emphasized the importance of these developments, stating that improvements like upgraded lighting and equipment contribute to better playing conditions for the team. Brackley Town's ground, St James Park, is among over 1,600 venues that have benefited from the Premier League Stadium Fund, which has invested more than £215 million in football facilities over the past 25 years. The club's recent successes, including promotion to the National League and winning the FA Trophy at Wembley in 2018, have further solidified its place in the community. CEO Janene Butters highlighted the club's commitment to being a vital part of Brackley, a small market town with a population of just 16,000. The support from the Premier League has been crucial in helping Brackley Town thrive both on and off the pitch.
